Dependency blast-radius alternatives — 2026-08-10

Status: INCOMPLETE. Issue #6375 tracks real graph/lease witnesses.

The same broken package, reverse dependency graph, lease trees, and queued issue paths must produce exact affected and excluded sets. Arms: fak native; direct-tree baseline; fak + DOS leases; Bazel; Pants; Nx; Kubernetes Lease labeling. Completion requires radius/hold precision and recall, latency, CPU/RSS/network, setup/operator time, total cost, pinned graphs/configuration/commands, and independent read-back. Three Windows/amd64 samples were 2,596, 2,302, and 2,619 ns/op (median 2,596 ns/op; 944 B/op; 44 allocs/op). Unavailable arms remain measurement-zero; no cross-system ranking exists yet.
